We will be visiting our Impact Partner, Blackbox International. This is a trip for those interested in engaging in a continual service to Blackbox through prayer and financial generosity.
On this trip to the Dominican Republic we will visit and learn from our Impact Partner, Blackbox International. Blackbox seeks to bring healing to boys rescued out of sex trafficking through holistic aftercare. They provide care for boys and young men in their safe-home in the Dominican Republic and are expanding.
This trip will focus on God's Heart for justice and how those of us who follow Jesus can support the work of Blackbox through prayer and financial generosity.
We will spend time in prayer walks through the cities and beaches where trafficking occurs, we will pray in the safe-home, we will worship alongside the church in the Dominican Republic who works alongside Blackbox to care for the boys.
The expectation for any person participating in this trip is to join the ministry of Blackbox through regular prayer or financial generosity once the trip is completed.

- Member and a Regular Attendee at Christ's Church of Oronogo
- Signed Releases
- Proof of Passport
Responsibilities
- This trip will emphasize education on the issue of trafficking and an encouragement toward prayer and generosity.
- Consider how you can engage in the ministry of Blackbox post-trip, especially through prayer and financial generosity.
- Submit to the leadership of Christ’s Church and Blackbox International.
- Refrain from taking pictures of the home, boys, etc. Participants need to recognize that security of the boys (physical, emotional, spiritual) is of the utmost importance.
Restrictions
- Must be 21 years old
- Must have a Passport, or show a passport application immediately upon applying.
Preparation
- Attend Mandatory Pre-Trip Meeting, January 15th 2023 in the Adult Ministry Center
- Follow Blackbox on Social Media, email subscription, etc.
- Read or listen to required reading
